At our Milwaukie Laundry event last week (11/11) we braved the rain with smiles on our faces and service in our hearts!
We have to thank one of our most invaluable community partners, the absolutely fantastic people at GracePointe Church! Thank you so much for your continued support with our Milwaukie Laundry events!
Since this was our last event at Milwaukie Laundry before the kick-off of the holidays, Thanksgiving, we were all treated to a full-on Thanksgiving feast, with all the trimmings, for our meal. We had delicious turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, veggies, rolls, and even a pumpkin pie, all provided by one of our most faithful volunteers, the fabulous Abby.
We washed up 900lbs of soapy laundry, we ate yummy food, and most importantly we made genuine human connections while giving back to our awesome community!
