We had such a spectacular turnout on 11/5 at QED Laundry in Milwaukie! Despite the dark and cold evening, we had 42 fabulous neighbors, washing, drying, folding, and enjoying bowls of delicious hot soup and some fantastic chewy, chocolatey brownies!
A huge shout-out goes to the lovely Roxanne and her team, including Clark, Jonah, and Oscar, from the Young Man's Service League, and their wonderful mothers, as well as a big thank you to our always reliable community partners from 4D Recovery for showing up and being an awesome resource for our neighbors who need it. We are incredibly grateful for all the love, support, and teamwork we see at all of our events! We not only have stellar volunteers, our staff is also top-notch! We have such great appreciation for the amazing Jess Westwood, the Program Supervisor for our Transitional Housing Program at The Father's Heart, for all her invaluable contributions to our events!
We can't wait to see everyone again at QED Laundry, rain or shine!
