This past Wednesday was our laundry + shower event at BRAX Laundry. 41 neighbors received services and our community came out in force to meet needs and build connections. We had our usual team of community volunteers including staff from the DA’s office, and special guests from the Oregon City Soccer Club: the 5th Grade girls team, Coach Pete Fogle, Club President Jon Benjamin and several team parents.
OC Soccer donated two new Milwaukee Tool lights (they make it possible for us to see at events during the fall and winter months) and new tables for hygiene distribution! Thank you to Land O'Frost for sponsoring the soccer club, and to Grocery Outlet for donating water and toilet paper! And last but definitely not least, a huge thank you to Brad and Max Sabo for providing such an incredible location for us to hold events, for sponsoring our second Friday laundry-only events and donating (washed and folded) clothing.
