Trash Extravaganza

LoveOne held a trash extravaganza today! Yep - it was absolutely as fun and productive as it sounds. Also very wet, the rain was on point!

We were joined by our amazing community partners The Father's Heart Street Ministry and the Providence Better Outcomes thru Bridges (BOB) Team, as well as Lauren from Clackamas County Coordinated Housing Access who provided on-site CHA assessments. We brought neighbors with lived experience to help alongside folks living in the area and were able to pay them for their time.

Thank you to Bombas and Clackamas County, Oregon for supporting the work we do with our neighbors in need. Thank you to Deputy DA Bill Stewart for providing protective gear and lunch, to Clackamas Service Center for providing water, snacks and food boxes, and to Hilton with Waste Management who delivered, emptied, re-delivered and re-emptied a 30 yard dumpster. We also filled an on-site 40 yard dumpster for a grand total of 100 yards of trash.

We connected neighbors to resources, shared a meal, celebrated a birthday, met residents in the neighborhood and had an all-around great day.
