On November 18 we celebrated the birthday of one of our outreach specialists by holding another LoveOne trash extravaganza. We are sure Sara will be thanking us for years to come.
Thanks to fantastic humans from Metro and Clackamas County, Oregon (Veterans Services, Coordinated Housing Access, and Waste Management) as well as neighbors with lived experience who were paid for their time and our LoveOne crew, we removed 40 yards of trash, connected with unhoused individuals, provided resources and completed several CHA assessments. Thank you to Clackamas Service Center for providing lunch for everyone, and to Metro for providing cleaning equipment and hazardous waste removal.
PS - Happy birthday Sara, we hope it was memorable.
