Monday night was laundry night at Milwaukie Laundry. We had such a great night visiting with neighbors, providing clean laundry and hygiene items, and playing a little hacky sack in the parking lot.
Tracy, our newest volunteer, helped neighbors access shelf stable food and already has ideas for how she can provide other needed resources at our next event.
Anna with CAP Community Testing joined us and provided rapid Hep C, HIV and Syphilis testing.
Pastor Sara of Storyline Community stopped by to say hi while out for a bike ride with her son, and Officer Davis of Milwaukie PD also stopped by to say hello. If you think this all sounds a bit like Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, you’re right!
