Whew, we took lots of photos at last night’s LoveOne + GracePointe laundry event ut somehow missed shots of all the laundry getting washed and dried.
Thanks to amazing volunteer Abby all 59 of the neighbors we served as well as the 8+ volunteers were fed a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal that included pumpkin pie for dessert!
LoveOne Board member and food box coordinator Carol brought out our beautiful portable toilet which was appreciated by everyone!
An anonymous community member dropped off a bag of really lovely handmade scarves for neighbors and volunteers. We all felt so very loved by the care and kindness that went into that donation. If you’re reading this kind human, THANK YOU!
And last but certainly not least, Pastor Sara of Storyline Community and her kiddo W came by with cases of hand warmers and visited with neighbors and volunteers.
We sure love this community. Thank you, Milwaukie, for making this a great place to care for one another.
