It was a busy day at our regular 4th Sunday Shower Event! With the sun out and the weather warm, we provided hot showers to 13 neighbors without running water.
We had the fabulous Nurse Judy provide foot care; Roxanne Beasley-Brown and her team rocked running the shower cart like a champ, as well as providing delicious food to share! (We have the best volunteers!)
We had one neighbor in need of some laundry, and with a quick word to Brad at Brax Laundry we were able to coordinate and get them the services they needed. I really love my community!
