On June 8, a team from LoveOne went on a road trip to Seaside where our Executive Director Brandi Johnson spoke to the Seaside Rotary Club about all things LoveOne and showers. We joined Providence Better Outcomes thru Bridges Outreach & Peer Support Manager Becky Wilkinson in talking about the work we do together and just how much we love it.
Later that day we had the opportunity to run a shower event for folks in Seaside! More than 60 people came for services, including showers, hygiene supplies, laundry supplies and a meal. Several Seaside community partners joined in the fun and we had a great time on the coast!
Special thank you to the Seaside Parks Department staff who provided access to all the hookups needed to run the shower cart.
